Post: Board of Director Meetings

Posted by Jude Kujanson on 1/22/07
Summit House is a non-profit residential facility serving as an alternative to prison for non-violent female offenders with young children. The Board of Directors meets once a month on SH business and it is becoming increasingly difficult to prioritize on transcribing the minutes which are taken as notes by "whoever" attending the meeting. Ergo, we are investigating as to what it would cost to have a court reporter serve in this capacity. The meetings last approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours monthly on the 3rd Thursday at 5:00 p.m., usually at a different location every month and any information that can be provided. I have worked with court reporters in a corporate setting in other companies/venues/gov't agencies and have found it to be an excellent answer for this plaguing dilemma that beleagers many entities. Thanx for any assistance.
