Description: Proofreader and scopist available to take on
work. I have been proofreading since 1998 and scoping on
Eclipse for over five years. I was in court reporting
school for two years and got up to about 160. I have also
earned a B.A. in linguistics and a certificate in Teaching
English as a Second Language and have taught English part-
time. I have excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar
skills and a lot of trivial knowledge which helps when
trying to decipher unfamiliar words in the transcript. I
have read thousands of depositions on many different
subjects, such as technical, medical, asbestos, various
experts, construction, business, et cetera. I prefer not to
do heavy criminal work. I am looking for another reporter
or two right now.
