Guru, I'm not sure if cops make 200k, but I do know that they make a
lot with overtime. I think you can make even 100k with overtime. The
cops showing up for DWI trials would say that they make close to 100k
with overtime, if i remember correctly.

this is one problem with the public or many college grads. (i was,
too.) they are misinformed as to what are the high-paying/high-demand
jobs, etc. contrary to the public perception, lawyers are mostly low-
income people, if they have jobs at all. Teachers make very good
money and enjoy great job security for the amount of education and
time they spend on the jobs. Nurses make a lot of money; sure they
work long hours but so do most professionals like lawyers: at least
nurses get paid for those hours. Police officers also make a lot of
money; they even get a lot of sex, too, because many women go craze
for men in the uniform. i hear of cops who screw the women they guard
from alleged stalkers, etc.
