I'm not a big fan of the on-line pharmacy either way too much margin
for error and abuse. My former HMO required that I get any
presrciptions from a mail order pharmacy which I really hated--I
wanted to use my neighborhood pharmacist that i'd known for years
who knew me, my medical history, my kids, etc. A pharmacist is a
very important job and very demanding because of all the different
drugs out there now and the possiblities for problems. It takes 5
years to become a pharmacist, 1-2 years of college and then 3-4
years of pharmacy school. (A pharmacologist though is not the same
as a pharmacist, just for the record.)
