Don't listen to the nay-sayers. You can do it. I took the
plunge on April 1st of this year. In six months, I've taken
in gross receipts of approxiamtely $45,000. I have another
$12,000 in outstanding receiveables. And I took in a
$10,000 retainer last week. Meanwhile, I am working on a
policy limits PI case with undisputed liability and medical
specials of $90,000 +.

The keys are hard work and networking. Take in the work
from wherever you can find it (so long as it pays). You'll
hit some dry periods but keep at it.
