A new solo out of law school will not do $45,000 in six months,
so let's squash that right here. If you've got many contacts
and are a pillar in your community, starting out is a lot
easier. A new solo however can expect garbage work and garbage
clients for their entire first year. This is just reality.

Going solo out of law school is the stupidest decision anybody
could make. Do anything else.
