May I suggest Time59 (www.time59.com). It is web-based
client billing software that handles timekeeping, expense
tracking, invoicing, and payments. It also interfaces with
Quickbooks.

It is specifically designed for solo professionals. There
is a free 30 day trial period. After that it is $19.95 per
year for unlimited use.
