Re: Going solo- Immigration or Bankruptcy?

You guys seem to think bankruptcy is viable as a solo practice area. Isn't it also an area with low margins? Can you make a profit doing this as a solo? What's the best way to advertise for bankruptcy business; I see ads for it in my local paper and wonder how well that works. Also, isn't it necessary to become registered to practice before your local bankruptcy court? How difficult is it to do that and what if you're just starting out in a new city and don't know any local attorneys who could vouch for you before the court?
