Post: Going Solo in Atlanta..

Posted by Chitown Lawyer on 3/21/08
I will be relocating to Atlanta this summer and interested in going solo in the area of Immigration or Real Estate. I don't have any experience in either (I've worked at 2 large firms (corporate and commercial lit) and now working for the government (still general lit). Does anyone have any advice on the best way to get experience in either of these areas? I'm finding it difficult to find entry level positions in Immigration. With respect to real estate, I'm running across a lot of companies that hire attorneys for witness-only closings, but I'm not sure how this works and what it usually pays. Any advice would be appreciated!
