This group is for those who believe the US Department of
Education should strip the American Bar Association of its
    accreditor status.

The ABA is too intertwined with law schools and big law firms to
ethically advance the interest of attorneys and the practice of
law. ABA policies over the years have done more to harm than
help attorneys. ABA is responsible for the oversupply of lawyers
    - it has accredited and continues to accredit unneeded law
schools which has led to an oversupply of attorneys. The law
school industry is a big moneymaking enterprise which thrives by
using creative language and outright lies to inflate its
employment statistics. For example, newly graduated law students
are hired for temporary jobs by the law school to inflate their
placement statistics and these statistics are then used to lure
new students to the law school. Most of these students graduate
with a heavy student loan burden but no job to help them pay off
their student loan. The student loan debt itself cannot be
discharged in bankruptcy; while law schools mint money, most
newly admitted lawyers struggle to find employment.

Why should the ABA be stripped of its accreditor status? Why not
simply ask it to change its policies? Because to keeping the ABA
as an accreditation authority would be like putting a fox in
charge of the hen house. ... (to read more, go to our facebook
