I was with a big firm until 2002 and then launched my own
practice. It is a very gratifying and rewarding experience--
so good luc!!
Don't have recs for practice management, but if you are
considering litigation or any practice that will involve
document review, I wanted to introduce you to Chronobuilder,
which allows you to build your own database of issues,
parties, cases, authorities, etc, make really slick looking
reports for clients and co-counsel and responding to
interrogatories, etc, and does this without all the jargon
and training headache of Casemap and similar proggrams. And
the pricing is not subscription based for Solos...
Check it out at www.chronobuilder.com. There is a free
trial version on the home page.
