Re: In final year of law school, which area of law to go sol

Dont go in PI! If you are of an immigrant background, try
immigration. Or u can go into Family Law or Bankruptcy. But remember
there is no such thing as quick money. With the oversupply of lawyers
and a bad recession, prepare yourself for some backbreaking work
marketing the firm. yes, u will do more marketing than u do the
actual work coz that is how it is right now. If u are lucky enough to
find a job with somebody, do it and stick with it for as long as u
can. If u have a rich daddy willing to fund your marketing, more
power to u. Otherwise, be realistic about the money u will be making.
    Good luck
