Re: Sunbeam heating pad
Posted by Victor Coppleson on 2/12/08

using a Sunbeam heating pad on my right leg set on medium. I awoke
about fifteen minutes later with the heating pad not working and
a large blister on my calf and ankle that turned out to be a third
    degree burn.
Long story short: After surgery and three months of treatment I
lost my leg below the knee.
Moral: Don't buy Sunbeam products. They obviously don't care
enough to test for product safety and our govt. is too preoccupied
to bother looking out for the public interest.
