    If you still want these malfunctioning Sunbeam heating pads, I have one that I was
    going to throw out because it has a hole burned right through the plastic pad.
    Fortunately, it must have shut itself off when that happened because I did not get
    burned personally, but it would make for good "evidence" of how these things
    burn holes in their own products. And I NEVER put the pad UNDER me. I have
    them ON TOP of my feet only, and always ON TOP of my very cold feet.

    I was looking for another Sunbeam like this one only because it had the "big
    button" on/off switch (and auto-shutoff) features. I like the "big button" on/off
    feature because I could turn it on with my big toe. ;-)
