RE: psteveg out of AUSTIN TEXAS: My sunbeam heating pad blew up and
sent sparks though out my bed at 4:30 am,,on 03/07/07 the cord
looks like it was cut/burned off at the top of the controller,,, It
burnt holes in my new set of 600 count sheets.... this pissed me off,
If I had been sleeping there would have been a fire and might of cost
me my life "Just Like That" !!! I bought it at wal-greens it was only
months old,,,, wal-greens will refund me the money, but they want the
heating pad, and I don't want to let it go, this is evidence for a
jury to look at and set a settlement finding and amount...and to have
these products pulled from store shelf's, since they know they are
faulted, yet they don't recall or pull stock from stores They will
end up paying a lot more money to all involved........... Steveg
