Six years ago, my one year old son was intentionally hit by
his in-home day care provider. The provider was prosecuted
in Dallas, TX. She received 10 years probation, anger
mgmt. classes, was fined and no longer able to keep
children. My son received a large bump on his forehead and
had bruising.

Given that six years has passed, do you think that he still
has a case? I thought that since he was a minor that there
was an "extended" statute of limitations.

Also, is it possible to first write my own demand letter
before obtaining legal representation?

Any advice would be helpful.
