I am an eighth grade teacher and varsity coach who has been
falsely accused of having sexual intercourse with a high
school senior. The girl and her parents have filed a
report with the school system and police department. The
police closed the investigation without even bringing me in
for questioning due to no evidence and the fact that the
parents are no longer willing to cooperate(they obviously
found out she was lying). The professional standards
commitee have not started their investigation. Until they
complete their investigation I have been suspended from
being able to coach my team over the summer. These
allegations have gotten out to the community and obviously
my name is being dragged through the mud. Are their any
legal ramifacations I could take against this family for
these false accusations and putting me throught the worst
month of my life.
