The owner of the house that I am buying made alot of
accusations about us and turned our water of for no
reason, we had to get an attorney and found out that the
contract she gave us for our house does not comply to
federal and state laws. We have been thru 2 attorneys that
would not do anything for us, in the meanttime i have
started Tenant meetings and she feels that I am rallying
against her and has told tenants that if they talk to me
that the will get an eviction notice. So, now no one is
talking to me or my husband. We live in a traile park and
the owner is a slum lord. The owner is charging us
8,000.00+taxes+insurance when the house is appraised at
4,000.00 and the taxes and insurance is suppose to be
included in the price of the house. We have put at least
3,000.00 into the house and have spent at least 5,000.00
on the house. But, we are disabled and live on a fixed
income and cant really afford an attorney. We went thru a
prepaid attorney and legal aide, and none of which could
do anything. need some advise on what to do. Need to prove
defimation of character. How do you do this. When she has
everyone wrapped around her finger and to scared to say
anything about what is going on. I doubt if anyone will
come to the next Tenant Meeting.
