Post: Statute of limitations
Posted by A on 8/22/06
Is there a statute of limitations on suing a person for damages caused by childhood sexual abuse in Florida(14 years of sexual abuse) He is in prison, but before he went to prison, I was told that he transferred all his assets into his mother's name. I have been through years of counseling (at my expense) and will continue this. Everyone keeps asking me if I am going to sue him for all the emotional damages he left with me...is this possible? Thanks.
