Hello,

I am one of 18 people that have come forward, by word of
mouth, with similar health problems as a result of living
with black mold. The health issues range from severe to
subtle. A lawsuit has been filed and the case will go to
court in July of 2008.

Our attorney is amazing. Unfortunately she is a sole
practitioner. This case has become a civil action. The
discovery period is under way and we are waiting on this
information, as such we predict many more people coming
forth with medical problems.

There is already proof that the apartment complex knew
about the black mold before renting the various apartments
to me and the others. I was sick for 3 months straight
and others have been hospitalized for periods of time.
When tenants would complain about wanting to move from the
complex for fear of their health, management would send a
maintenance man in to either paint over the mold growing
through the walls or do a inadequate clean up that would
not solve the problem. The apartment complex management
would then charge the tenants a large fee for breaking
their lease in order to get away from the health hazard.
A lot of the tenants do not have the kind of money it
takes to get up and go, so the complex would seemingly
hold the tenants in a hostage state to suffer through the
more and more severe health problems.

Our medical expert has beaten the Daubert Challenge in
several toxic mold cases and is willing to treat all of
the victims together at a discounted fixed price. He is
confident and credible.

We need a law firm with resources to come in and take over
the case. The apartment complex is worth over 10 million
and the note is held by a large bank. The owner of the
complex is in panic and they are attempting to remediate,
but are doing so without experts. The state health
department has been notified and news agencies are
interested in the story.

The defendant has hired a large firm and we are looking as
well. Does anybody have advice or experience?
