Post: fraud?

i saw a psychologist who submitted insurance claims and
was paid. he never billed me for the copayment until i
stopped seeing him 18 months later. is this legal? he
waived the copyments per an agreement with my lawyer that
i knew nothing about after the psychologist was assured
byt the attorney that it was a strong case. the case was
not a strong one and now the psychologist is trying to
collec this money that i knew nothing about.
