Post: URGENT:HOME OWNER ASSOC. MAKING DECISIONS OUTSIDE HO LAWS

I am a HO and in a neighborhood w/ Bylaws & Covenenants.
They say a percentage of HO must say yes before major
decisions are made. New,inexperienced Leaders, are
attempting to force us into a ~$795,000.00 water & sewer
replacement w/ the LID. (over $18,000 per home) WE CANNOT
AFFORD THAT! The votes were not in acceptable numbers but
the leaders have the city ready to start the project! Only
about 8-10(?) of 41 homes have responded yes. Most do not
understand the truth. They have been decieved in many ways
(I will explain) (more stupid projects are being made w/o
approval)

Also, 99% of owners purchased their homes not being
informed there was a HUGE PAST DUE WATER/SEWER BILL! (over
$200,000 at one point!)

We were told there may be a suit against the REALITORS for
this deception? Also a way to have the CITY TO DROP THE
BALLANCE TO "ZERO" against us WHO DID NOT USE THE WATER!

Can we get help in understanding our rights & stopping
these problems BEFORE WE ARE CONDEMED (code
violations/refusing to repair leaking pipes or measure
37?) OR A LEIN AGAINST OUR HOUSE IS MADE?(which would make
selling it impossible!)WE HAVE WEEKS! (3 of us are
completly disabled & moving or paying over $18,000 is
IMPOSSIBLE!)

HELP...TIME IS EXTREMLY LIMITED! WEEKS?
