Post: Discovery

Posted by lawyerly on 1/15/07

    I am in my first multi-party case (Def X, Y, Z). Obviously,
all parties get copies of anything sent to one party.
However, does this include interrogatories? Requests to
Produce? I ask due to the following scenario.

Party X & Y each gave interrogs. to PL. As the PL, I
answered each, and I sent a cert of service to all
indicating that they were answered. I did not send copies
of the answers to each because of the following: the rules
are silent, and I asked a more seasoned attorney who
indicated that the other party has to make a specific
request. Unfortunately, now one of the attornies is asking
where the answers are? Any guidance?

    Thanks
