I'm speaking from my own personel experience. I've been on
workers comp for almost 2 years. 7 weeks ago workers comp
adjuster cut off my weekly ttd checks. My attorney talked
to them and they told him lets settle the case. My
attorney told them that they have to provide me with
vocational rehab becuse I can no longer work at what I was
doing for my carrer. I have a surgon who sent a report and
put me on light duty permently. My carrer as a crane
operator is over. Workers comp wont pay me my weekly
checks so I have an arbitrator hearing in 1 month. The
hearing is to reinstate my ttd and pay me my back pay and
set me up for voc. rehab.

The reason they are not paying me my ttd is becuse they
don't want to send me to voc.rehab because they cant train
me for a job making the same money and will have to pay a
wage diff. Which is 2/3 difference from what I was making
as a crane operator. I think these people are sleze bags
for even having a job that purposly tries to screw people
who are injured.

This is a warning to all of you people out there who are
new to the system. Save as much money as possiable because
workers comp will cut your checks. They use this tatic to
try and make you as poor as possiable and try to force you
to settle for little money. They hope that you will have
creditors hounding you and they don't care if you lose your
home because that's what they want. These people who work
as adjusters are evil people. Why would a person cut of
disability money to an injured person when they know that
the injured person cant go back to there job. My attorney
contacted workers comp attorney on this matter. The
workers comp attorney said he couldn't get a hold of the
adjuster to find out what the ins. company wanted to do.
He told my attorney that after reading all of the med
reports he doesn't know why they cut my ttd. He said that
he would recomend to the ins. company to reinstate my ttd.
It hasn't happened. I think it's funny how the adjuster
wont return there own attorneys calls. My attorney is
going to see if he can get a violation at the hearing date
because the ins. company is wrong. He told me what will
probably happen is the ins. co. will reinstate my ttd right
before the hearing date so they wont be in violation. I
don't care because I want my atty. to bring it in front of
the arbitrator anyways because they deserve to be
punished. If I can find a way I would love to sue the
adjuster personally.

Injured workers beware the adjuster is going to try and
screw you. Save as much money as possiable because they
will cut off your ttd. These are slezy people who work for
these ins.co.
