Re: Returning to work before WC claim is settled

Hi, Rebecca: I was approved to go back to work with the restrictions of "no lifting or reaching" with my injured arm. The WC attorney told me a person is entitled to WC checks unless they have received a full and complete release from their doctor to work with no restrictions. I've been wondering if I should contact the insurance rep to request that they do the right thing and re-start the payments to me starting from the date I was fired and continuing until I am given a full release by the doctor OR if I should just go ahead and retain the attorney and risk losing money to her out of any final settlement. My brain is going in circles!
