    The answer depends upon your state. In NY an 11% permanent
    loss of use should give you money immediately, minus prior
    payments and/or payment of wages, and is based upoon 2/3 of
    your established average weekly wage. This is worth about 34
    +weeks of benefits prior to the deductions. In NY you have
    18 years from the date of accident to reopen for money, if
    there is further deterioration, and lifetime medical rights.
