Re: How do I push for a settelment? NOW while I'm still aliv
Posted by Curmudgeon on 8/07/06

I sympathize with your situation, but you have to keep in
mind that WC does not pay for things like pain and
suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, your hardships, or
anything like that. It is designed only to compensate you
for loss of income and necessary medical expenses.

No, there are no formulae. With a claim like yours, you
really need a lawyer, but you may have a difficult time
finding a new one. The original lawyer may have a claim
against your settlement and your new lawyer won't want to
    share the fees.

    Good luck to you.
