I have never heard of this occurring! You do not have to agree
with this if this is a person from the insurance company
(which is what I suspect) or your own attorney (which I
doubt). And you have the right to say no. Sounds like a trick
from someone at the insurance company and you should say no.
This can have nothing to do with whether a settlement occurs
or not! They can put cameras all around you but they can't
come in your house and they know it...think of that.
Just tell them forget about that idea and send me my
settlement documents. If they don't want to do it that way
then get an attorney because if you are on your own an
attorney could probably do much better for you anyway in a
resolution of your claim than you can do on your own.
