Post: Workers comp settlement

Posted by Dawn on 6/11/08
I live in PA and yesterday I was supposed to have my C&R hearing. Well, it didn't happen!! Apparently there was a problem with Domestic Relations. My attorney told me from day one that the only amount DR could take was anything owed in back support. Is this true? If it is, I am being screwed. I don't owe anything in arrears, but they are saying they want one full year of support!!!! Is this legal? DR even sent my attorney a letter stating they wanted nothing and the judge wouldn't accept it. When my attorney called them to have them state that they are aware of the settlement and they still don't want anything they said now they want paid for the year. They claim the paper my attorney had should have never gone out. The best part is my support case has been suspended as of March 31, 2008. I have not had to pay anything because of the difference between my income and my ex's. What can I do?
