Post: shoulder surgery from fall at work

Posted by cj on 6/26/08
took a fall at work tripping over curb at entrance. Tore labrum and frayed bicep tendon. Surgery was done as shoulder froze while trying to self treat and continue working. After surgery was on W/C. Needed to go to Phys. therapy daily for 3 weeks following surgery. Asked W/C if they could supply ride or cover cab costs - said no. Had to drive back and forth with one arm everyday and subsequently developed tear in good shoulder. By the way I've heard it's not legal driving with one arm in my State. Should legal action be taken against my W/C insurer? Thank you.
