I hurt my back in May of 08 and still went to work with
light duty even though it didn't effect my job I was
fired. They started with we think your work isn't up to
par so we are putting you on a performance review and gave
me a task of things to do. They set me up for failure with
this list but I did everything on it even though it was
againts Doctors orders with a couple of task they asked of
me. I worked 12 hours a day 11 days streight to do
everything on this list and completed everything. All of a
sudden I got called to HR and was told I didn't complete
one item so they were letting me go, the thing they said I
didn't complete was the hardware inventory of every
computer in my company which reqired me to go to every
computer and get the srl number, asset tag and service tag
numbers from each computer. It meant that I had to bend
and go under pretty much every desk in the company to get
the info. The workmans comp doctors gave me limited duty
at work and one of the things I am not allowed to do is
bend and do repetitive motions. Well they told me for me
to get a list of all the computers I had to do this, I did
it and they still fired me saying I didn't do it. Well the
list was complete and I was trying to save my job even
though I was in a lot of pain going under all the desk I
had to. I told my boss this was hard and it hurt and he
said well you have to do this or you will lose your job. A
month before I was fired I had my review and it was as good
as you can get, I even got a raise and now less then 2
months later I am not up to par. I need to take them to
court because they had no right to fire me. I was told the
position I am in requires someone that knows what they are
doing at a high level, which I am at. So now I hear they
are giving my job to one of the helpdesk girls at my work
that doesn't know the differnce between a CDrom and DVD
player. What do I do and can anyone help me?
