Post: New Position offered at Lower Salary while on Workers Comp??

Posted by John on 2/03/09

Odd scenerio here! I work 2 jobs. 1 FT as a Restaurant
General Manager. Also, I work PT at a restaurant for xtra
$$ as a line chef. I was badely burned at the PT chef job.
WC is covering both job salaries no problem (been out a
month). Due to the economy my FT job's president called me
at home and stated he was going to relocate me to a
different position for 13k less in pay or I get laid
off. Also I am on Short Term Disabilty offered at no cost to
me from my FT job, as well I did take the LTD on my
benefits package My Questions are: 1.Will WC cover the
differnce of the new salary to the previous salary at the
FT job 2. What are the stipulations? 3. What if I get
another job in a different field due to my injuries and for
lower pay? Concerned in Boston!!! Thanks!
