initially intended his new career path to be in the web
development industry, taking webpage design and graphics
from hobby to profession. But realizing that one man would
be competing with whole teams of people of various
occupational specialties, he had to find another way to do
the job that he loved and remain competitive. “Early on I
developed an interest in search engine optimization” and
spent every spare moment reading as much as I could about
how to optimize a webpage and develop good content to
produce quality organic search engine search results in
the top 3 search engines Google, Yahoo and MSN.
I published my first website NutriGuard.Com, a small mail
order vitamin and mineral store in 1998 and soon realized
that just publishing a site to the net wasn’t enough. With
millions of sites worldwide competing for the same top
spot, that I would have to do something different if I
wanted to succeed in this industry. At the time the seo
technology was still pretty new and meta tag development
still played a major role in website positioning. In
hindsight, my first attempt was an abomination and I spent
