This letter is to express my interest in a Paralegal
position available with your firm. As you review my resume
you will identify that I have (19) nineteen years in the
paralegal field and that my skills, abilities and
knowledge are very transferable for any position. Over
the nineteen years I have worked in a number of different
areas in the litigation area, I am very confident that my
knowledge, skills and abilities that have been established
are quite strong.
Throughout my contracting career I have been afforded the
opportunity to acquire a great deal of exposure to the
litigation arena in a number of different areas of law. I
have a very good understanding of the legal concepts, as
we know it, complex and complicated. Through out my career
I have researched case law, drafted settlement proposals,
prepared witnesses for deposition and trials, and assisted
with responding to various document requests on a number
of cases.
Over the years; I have assisted with database development
for information storage and retrieval, factual
development, deposition preparations, trial preparations,
document management, supervision of legal and project
assistants, responsible for fact finding, problem analysis
approaches, responding to plaintiffs and co defendants
document requests and automated research on various
issues.
I am very confident I would be a great addition to your
legal team; my experience and exposure to various legal
matters and a strong ability, which has been illustrated,
to conduct legal research, identifying and applying legal
research principles using electronic and manual methods.
Also, my knowledge of legal concepts in many areas is very
broad and strong and the ability to prioritize, organize
and conduct complex tasks under a time sensitive
schedule.
The skills and knowledge I have developed over the years
have rendered me a very well equipped paralegal. Attached
