Your Transcription Services offers its clients the
convenient option of uploading audio files from your
portable digital transcriber using FTP (File Transfer
Protocol). The FTP site is an efficient and secure means of
transferring files from one computer to another via the
Internet. Should you choose this option we will create a
user account for you by providing a user name and password.
You can then upload your audio files onto that FTP site.
We will also assist you in installing a program called Web
Dictate [which is fully compatible with Express Scribe, the
software Your Transcription Services uses]. Web Dictate is
a dictation system that lets you record, edit and manage
dictation over the internet. You log into a server running
Web Dictate to record dictation with any ordinary web
browser. You can save or edit your dictations online. When
you have finished recording just click send and the
recording will be sent immediately by electronic mail. This
is perfect when you are away from your office and want to
get dictation to us fast. For example, if you are
travelling you can use the hotel's internet access to
dictate. You can also use it to dictate from home.

Approximately 90% of our finished work is returned to our
clients via electronic mail. However, if you prefer, we
can download finished product to you using FTP (File
Transfer Protocol).
