Description:
Must have thorough knowledge of patent licensing process and litigation experience is a plus. Incumbent will review a broad spectrum of high tech technologies, i.e. telecomm, chip, IT, electronic, materials and medical devices; perform due diligence and make buy recommendations. Incumbent will then develop monetization strategies appropriate to purchased portfolios.
Requirements:
5+ years experience in patent licensing & technology transfer
Patent assertion experience-litigation a plus
Successful patent monetization experience dealing with broad array of technologies
Skills in evaluating and mining portfolios and packaging same for exploitation
Experience building teams
Position reports to Managing Partner and resides in NY City.
