Are you an experienced Patent Attorney interested in joining a fast-growing IP portfolio investment unit within a leading Global Private Equity Fund based out of New York with frequent travel to Europe?
Our client seeks an attorney having:
Experience in all legal aspects of patent portfolio monetization.
Detailed knowledge of the process to obtain patent grants on a world wide basis.
Transactional experience in the ICT sectors (communications, electronics, IT, semiconductor, materials and medical devices).
License negotiations and patent sales.
Patent litigation and prior art/patent investigation analyses.
Supported pre-acquisition due diligence.
Responsibility for reverse engineering.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Due diligence relating to patent acquisition
Support in negotiating patent acquisition transactions with sellers and engaging licensing management teams (develop license strategy and turn over)
Developing monetization plans
