Are you an experienced litigator with knowledge of wireless technologies?
Our client seeks a Patent Litigation Counsel to work closely with the head of IP Litigation and other attorneys, and be responsible for managing various patent litigation and arbitration matters.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential licensing targets and patents to be licensed.
Create and implement litigation strategies.
Manage and coordinate outside counsel.
Oversee all filings, hearings and trials in various matters.
Work with in-house attorneys in both the patent and other areas involved in engineering and standards.
Handle many interrelated matters in different jurisdictions with multiple defendants, multiple issues and multiple counsel.
Handle all day-to-day aspects of litigation management.
Qualifications:
J D required.
Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering undergraduate degree preferred.
Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office preferred.
6-10+ years of patent litigation experience in a major law firm; additional in-house experience a plus.
Experience with Section 337 proceedings before the International Trade Commission a plus.
Knowledge of wireless telecommunication technologies and standards a plus.
Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, is required.
