Key Responsibilities:
Supports the Real Estate Attorney and other team members in the preparation, negotiation and execution of leases and other legal documents for conformed deals.
Maintain tracking reports and coordinate resolution of landlord issues and disputes.
Prepare kickouts, options, estoppels and subordinations.
Provide support for lease administration function and coordinate store construction with store planning.
Develop and maintain working relationships with major landlords.
Provide additional legal administrative and organizational support to the Real Estate team as needed such as maintenance of appropriate files system.
Qualifications:
Paralegal certificate and Bachelor’s degree
2 years + law firm or retail real estate legal experience
Retail industry experience preferred
Solid review / research / negotiation skills
Team player; strong interpersonal skills
Detail oriented
Proven ability to work independently with minimal direction
