Staff attorney, Morehead. Legal Aid of the Bluegrass serves 139,000 rural/urban poor in 33 Kentucky counties from offices in Covington, Lexington, Morehead and Ashland. It has secured funds for a dynamic project to serve poor immigrant and rural persons experiencing domestic violence. This attorney will practice in any poverty law area affecting domestic violence clients, including family, housing, health, consumer, income maintenance. KY Bar membership or eligibility to practice in KY based on licensure in another state; highly motivated entry-level applicants considered. Grant & project management skills, ability to collaborate a must. Experience preferred. Spanish proficiency a plus. $33,000+ DOE, excellent fringes including student loan benefit, state retirement.
