Ryder is currently seeking a Compliance Analyst who will:
. Serve as backup to the Compliance Representative and have responsibility for producing Affirmative Action Plans, which are submitted to the Department of Labor
· Serve as backup to employment law paralegal and will assist with all phases of the discovery process, interacting with outside counsel, in house attorneys and HR and operational management.
· Be responsible for responding to demand letters and requests for statements of position from the government related to individual wage and hour claims.
· Be responsible for creating and maintaining litigation and compliance databases; creating reports regarding trend analysis; assist in compliance audits and in the drafting of remediation reports and
· Act as project administrator for the Global Compliance and Labor/Employment teams, and have some administrative duties.
Education/Experience/Skills/Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business, human resources administration, psychology, organizational management, or sociology OR eight years or more of related work experience required.
- Legal, human resources, project management, investigation or audit experience preferred.
- Very strong analytical, communication, proofreading, and writing skills required. Must be able to perform trend analysis.
- Must be able to work late hours on minimal notice.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, pressure-filled environment, and must be as comfortable working independently as with a team.
- Proficiency MS Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, Access required. MS Project preferred.
