Intellectual Property Attorney to support Goodrich's Actuation and Landing Systems group of businesses.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-- Counsel business clients on all aspects of intellectual property law
-- Manage intellectual property portfolios
-- Provide IP training to technical and business staff members
-- Prepare and negotiate agreements relating to intellectual property
-- Coordinate and supervise outside counsel
-- Assess ownership, validity and infringement issues relative to IP assets
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-- Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office and admitted by at least one State Bar.
-- 10 years experience practicing intellectual property law, preferably in the aerospace or related industries.
-- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering.
-- Knowledge of European Patent Office practice and U.S. government contracting rules and regulations is preferred.
