· Responsible for the maintenance of the PG’s patent and trademark portfolios
· Responsible for the day-to-day administration of PG’s IP processes, including but not limited to:
- Coordinating and facilitating regular patent and trademark reviews (including scheduling, attendance, minutes)
- Maintain web-based information repository for company’s IP assets
- Generate company letters of record to stakeholders and external constituents
- Review and facilitate all aspects of patent applications, trademark applications, renewal, maintenance, and expiration of same
- Interface with outside counsel
· Review and administer outside patent counsel legal invoices; coordinate with Finance to ensure timely payment; track outside IP Management costs
· Manage a PG-wide website for communication, collaboration and knowledge management for all IP assets
· Provide support for a wide range of administrative duties related to IP Management · Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with PG counsel, outside counsel, marketing, engineering and other PG business functions
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of five years paralegal experience at a company or law firm, with first hand knowledge of the process of obtaining/maintaining patents and trademarks
College degree/ paralegal educational training
Strong proficiency in computer skills, including Outlook and MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and web-based database tools
Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
Natural diplomat, with strong people skills to work with all levels of the organization
Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and work autonomously with minimal supervision
