Position Purpose:
Coordinate the daily activity associated with processing developer contract files for closing, recording and associated processing.
Essential Functions: Verify accuracy of contract documents including finance and title documents. Ensure document files are in compliance with underwriting guidelines and title requirements.
Audit documents for compliance to standards for recording of documents in public records. File and maintain organized and systematic support documentation and filing for title related functions. Effectively track flow of all title documents, including mortgages, deeds, satisfactions, reconveyances, and UCC releases.
Ensure financial documents are complete and ready for funding.
Coordinate corrections, adjustments and modifications to contract documentation as necessary.
Interact with appropriated personnel and departments to process contracts through verification and posting to computer system as owners.
Escrow related functions as needed in order to comply with regulatory requirements and as needed by Manager or other internal customer.
Assist with review, audit and mail out of title policies for all developer sales.
Communicate with Title Companies as needed to record sales. Conduct title searched via internet.
Track all problem recordings and attempt to resolve in a timely manner.
Assist Licensed Title Agent to record all developer sales in a timely manner.
Assist internal and external customers as needed to process developer sales.
Carry out any reasonable request by management of which the employee is capable of performing.
Supportive Functions:
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company. Cross trained with resale title group to provide support
Preparation for note sales on a periodic basis
Job Requirements :
High School Diploma (GED) required
At least 2 year college (associate) degree preferred
2 years experience with computer skills including Word Perfect, MicroSoft Word, and Excel required. Timeshare software a plus.
2 years previous timeshare background required, preferably in a document area preferred
Previous title insurance industry experience preferred
Must posses excellent organization, written, verbal and communication skills
Notary Public or willingness to obtain within 90 days required
