SENIOR PARALEGAL - CO (Denver)

Salary: 50,000 - 60,000
The core responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: drafting pleadings, disclosures, motions to compel, request for an extension of time, answers, draft and respond to written discovery, issuing subpoenas and record requests, and all related correspondence; assisting attorneys with all aspects of file and case management from initiation of lawsuit through trial or final disposition, preparation for depositions, settlement conferences and client and witness meetings. Prepare for hearings and trial, facilitate document productions, including large volume cases, preparation of medical, tax, deposition and document summaries; identifying and organizing deposition and trial exhibits. Additional duties include maintaining a case management system to ensure all deadlines are met for assigned cases, drafting status reports and confideRequired Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have the following:
Education:
• ABA Paralegal Certificate or an Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field of study.
Computer and Software Skills:
• Excellent computer skills particularly in Microsoft Office programs of Word and Outlook and be familiar with Excel and PowerPoint; Summation and Trial Director experience a real plus.
Experience and expertise:
• Experience and proficiency in both Federal and Colorado State court rules, docketing of Rule 16 and 26 deadlines, and the ability to e-file in both court systems.
• Excellent writing skills that are organized, clear and informative.
• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively work independently or with a group. You must handle yourself in a mature and professional manner; possess the skills to supervise both people and projects as appropriate.
• Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills; you must be detail oriented and possess the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Must be flexible and able to work overtime as needed to ensure deadlines are met and must be able to lift up to 25lbs when necessary.
