Salary: 102800.00-154800.00
Under general supervision provides legal advice and policy guidance, to the Corporation, both directly and through the use of outside counsel. As a member of the Legal Department will provide support to a diverse, global client group, focusing on those specific areas of the law as may be assigned from time to time.
Provide, directly and/or through the use of outside counsel, legal advice and policy guidance in those specific areas of the law as assigned.
Draft and/or review legal or other documents in support of providing legal services within the assigned areas of responsibility.
Perform legal and other research (or direct and review the performance of such research) in support of providing legal advice to clients.
Provide legal support to the Corporation, as necessary, in the absence of Assistant General Counsel; prepare periodic reports as may be required; and perform such other tasks and duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Manage outside counsel to ensure high quality, cost effective legal representation.
Effectively coach and mentor department employees. Proactively support employee involvement and development. Counsel employees on performance standards. Complete and administer accurate and timely performance reviews.
Qualifications:
JD degree or international equivalent.
Member of a state bar association (admitted to practice) or international equivalent
Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in those legal areas in which assignments primarily will be made, with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility.
Present a positive, professional image; leadership skills required.

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
