Looking for an in-house position as IP counsel?
If you have experience with the following technologies: cutting edge processor, DSP, advanced and novel memory, IC design and Process, then this may be the place for you.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and prosecution of US and foreign patent applications
Supervision of outside counsel preparation and prosecution
Infringement and clearance analysis
Participation in design around and analysis
License and contract analysis, negotiation, claim drafting and interpretation of license agreements
Advise inventors and management on a variety of issues from Open Source, Copyright, etc.
Offensive and defensive patent and portfolio analysis
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years patent preparation and prosecution
Several years of experience in some aspect of electronic systems design, or equivalent.
Registered member of state bar and the U.S.P.T.O.
Degree in electrical or computer systems engineering. Master's degree a +
Strong technical background to be able to communicate effectively with inventors
Strong patent background is needed to be able to craft broad and narrow claims
Periodic travel to southeast US required
