Paralegal to manage the day-to-day operations of the web video enforcement operations. Significant function of the Manager would be to review the significant number of web video clips flagged by the outside vendor under our instructions as requiring in-house review, and do an initial review of counter-notices filed by users.
Additional responsibilities would include
(a) responding to tips we receive on UGC sites;
(b) proactively searching key sites for high priority titles to monitor vendors' efforts and find/remove any missed videos, ideally before they are found/reported by Fox executives;
(c) compiling monthly lists of titles to be protected and verifying applicable legal rights;
(d) obtaining white list information from international marketing departments worldwide;
(e) interfacing with vendors 7 days a week to resolve problems (e.g., urgent take downs);
(f) recommending changes to procedures and protocols to increase efficiency;
(g) providing monthly reports on results to insure Fox is receiving value for its money;
(h) researching and resolving frequent issues that arise in the takedown process (e.g. why particular videos were missed and implementing fixes in procedures),
(i) coordinating on content recognition/fingerprinting efforts by providing title lists and priorities, and
(j) helping to evaluate UGC filtering efforts.
