Sr. Counsel, Content Protection Litigation
FOX Group Legal seeks an exceptional mid-level litigator to join its Content Protection Department.
In this role, you will work on cutting-edge, technology-oriented copyright litigation cases designed to protect film and television content from infringement and piracy, especially on the Internet.
Working with FOX colleagues, as well as counterparts at other studios and industry groups, you will also help devise and implement strategies to protect FOX's film, television and new media content from piracy; manage legal issues relating to removing unauthorized FOX content from the internet; provide internal copyright and anti-piracy advice; and help prepare reports for and answer questions from senior management on content protection developments
We are seeking a successful top-tier law school graduate with at least 4 to 6 years of hands-on litigation experience at a top firm. The candidate must have a strong substantive background in copyright law and a strong interest in protecting copyright owners' rights. Facility with the Internet and other emerging technologies is required. Studio experience and international experience are preferred.
Our dedicated professional will have excellent oral and written communication and teamwork skills, and will successfully prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, and California Bar admission (existing or planned) are required.
