Safeco's Sacramento Staff Counsel Office is hiring for a Contract Attorney. The individual must have at least six to eight years experience in civil litigation and insurance defense work. The attorney must have strong writing, organizational, analytical, and research skills. The person filling this position will primarily be handling mid- to high-level personal injury matters as well as a variety of other complex matters. This attorney will draft legal briefs and reports to claims and clients and will handle all hearings leading up to and including trial. Strong automation skills are critical. The individual must be highly-motivated with an exceptional work ethic and positive attitude.
